To the hotel (from the Massachusetts Turnpike, Route
90)
Get onto I-95 North (also known as Route 128) Get off at Exit
27, and make a right off the ramp. Stay left . After a few stop
lights , make a left onto Totten Pond road. (You will see a Shell
station of your left). The Susse Chalet will immediately be on
your left on Winter Street. Th Home Suites Hotel is a a little
further down Totten Pond Road on the left.
Access by T
It is possible to drive to the Alewife station and pick up the red line to Harvard Square. Note that the last trains normally leave by 12:30.
From the hotel to Harvard Sq
Get back onto I-95/128 North. Take exit 29A, which is Route 2, heading towards Arlington/Cambridge. Pay attention to the signs that will keep you on Rt 2 ( you will have to stay right). You will pass a large parking lot on the right (**This is the Alewife T Station**), as well as a TJ Maxx and Fresh Pond Mall. At this point you will be approaching a rotary. Head towards Cambridge (if you are approaching from "6 o'clock", you want to exit at "9 o'clock"). You are now on Route 16, Fresh Pond Road. Take this road until you veerleft onto Memorial Drive. This road runs along the river, which should be on your right side. Turn left on John F Kennedy St (a lighted intersection - if you go right, you are crossing a bridge).JFK Street leads into Harvard Square, characterized by high pedestrian traffic. Harvard University will be on the left, surrounded by brick walls and tall gates. In all, your drive should be no more than 10 miles.
